1. Login to the domain management at the current registrar and ensure that the domain is unlocked (all domain security and privacy options disabled).

2. Ensure that the admin contact email is a good working email address as a confirmation email will be sent to this email address. You can check what address the admin contact is set to via WHOIS at http://4dnstools.com

3. Obtain the auth code (also known as the authinfo or EPP code). You will get this from your current registrar. Generally this can be obtained from the domain management area at your current registrar.

4. Submit the transfer request to us either from your existing backroom or from our website at http://www.4domains.com/transfer

NOTE: You will receive a transfer confirmation email at the email address listed as the admin contact on the domain. You must follow the instructions of this email (follow the link in the email and confirm the transfer).  We recommend you monitor your spam or junkmail folder to ensure that this email is not being caught by your spam filters.
